September 15, 2016 - Starting on Oct. 1, 2016 students seeking assistance with financing their higher education will be able to apply for student aid, rather than wait until the new calendar year. This amendment is due to significant changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which were announced by United States President Barack Obama in 2015. UVI Welcomes 50 Doctoral Candidates in the First Ph.D. Cohort

August 23, 2016 - The University of the Virgin Islands welcomed the inaugural cohort for the University’s Ph.D. in Creative Leadership for Innovation and Change. The inaugural cohort, composed of 50 students from the Virgin Islands, the Caribbean and the United States, met on Sunday, Aug. 22, for a welcome reception at the President’s Guest House.
