Student Research Opportunities

Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) has funding to support undergraduate students to conduct research projects in AES labs on the St. Croix campus. AES research areas are animal science, aquaculture, biotechnology & agroforestry, forage agronomy and horticulture. Students will work with AES research faculty in the project design, data collection and analyses and have the opportunity to present a poster of the results at the student research symposia. Emerging Caribbean Scientists (ECS) Programs offer interdisciplinary research experiences, summer programs, scholarships, and mentoring to UVI students majoring in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), psychology, and nursing.
