Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing The UVI nursing programs have a proud history of helping meet the healthcare needs of the Virgin Islands. 13D Entrepreneurship Competition UVI encourages a spirit of entrepreneurship among students striving for self-sufficiency. Through a generous philanthropic donation, students compete to create businesses that provide much-needed products and services to the community. Student Research Symposia UVI students have the opportunity to conduct premier research abroad and within University laboratories. Under the tutelage of UVI professors, students research topics including coral reef protection, algae growth, cybersecurity, antibiotic research and other STEM topics. The University has two campuses. The 130-acre Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix includes a multi-level complex constructed around a landscaped courtyard with open-air walkways, attractive stonework, tropical foliage, miniature waterfalls and man-made ponds. The 388-acre St. Thomas campus has far reaching views of crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, colorful foliage and fruit trees. Carnegie Foundation - Elective Community Engagement Classification UVI remains committed to keeping the community informed through active community engagement projects. Reichhold Center for the Arts Image

The Reichhold Center for the Arts, the University’s performing arts center, is a 1,196-seat amphitheater nestled in a tropical setting on the western end of the St. Thomas campus. The Reichhold Center stage has played host to many luminaries in the entertainment business, including Ray Charles, Celia Cruz, the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, Jeffrey Osborne, the Dance Theater of Harlem, The Soweto Gospel Choir and more.
