Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the Virgin Islands Certified Public Manager Program (VI-CPM) graduation ceremonies from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Sept. 13, on the St. Thomas Campus and Wednesday, Sept. 14, on the Albert A. Launched in July 2013, the VI-CPM is a collaborative effort between the Division of personnel (DOP) in the Office of the Governor and the University of the Virgin Islands Institute for Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (ILOE). This program, managed and delivered by UVI-ILOE on both the St. Croix and St. Thomas campuses, is a nationally accredited, academic and professional development initiative and is produced in partnership with the Government of the US Virgin Islands. Fifty-three students are expected to graduate in this cohort, which represents government sector managers in the St. Croix and St. Thomas-St. John districts. VI-CPM classes are held on St. Thomas and St. Croix at the University of the Virgin Islands over a 12-month period.
