Media Invited to Cover & Photograph Virtual Summer Research Symposium
Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the University of the Virgin Islands’18th Annual Summer Research Symposium. For the first time, the event will be hosted virtually via Zoom and will occur from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020. This event will showcase research presentations by student participants of the UVI Summer Undergraduate Research Program.
The symposium will feature more than 40 current undergraduate students as they display the results of their summer research projects that were conducted under the mentorship of UVI faculty. The projects involve a variety of topics in scientific disciplines including:
