Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph a conference hosted by the University of the Virgin Islands Caribbean Exploratory Research Center (CERC) that will highlight work done by the Alliance for Responsive Investment in Children’s Health: U.S. Virgin Islands (A Rich VI).
Supported through a Human Services Research Partnership Cooperative Agreement from the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), A RICH VI has focused its work on understanding the Head Start, Early Head Start, and TANF Programs in the US Virgin Islands from the perspective of both clients and staff.
The core research team, housed at UVICERC looks forward to welcoming you to one of the two one-day conferences and sharing highlights of the work that they have been doing to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families in the U.S. Virgin Islands over the past five years.
Each one-day conference will feature the work of the core research team and is organized around panel discussions, keynote speakers, poster displays of project outputs, and time for networking. The research to be presented provides a deep understanding of the Head Start (HS), Early Headstart (EHS), and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) programs in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
