Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the University of the Virgin Islands 22nd Annual Eastern Caribbean “Islands in Between Conference” on Thursday, Oct. 31 through Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019, on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. This year’s conference focuses on languages, literature, and cultures of the Eastern Caribbean.
The conference is co-organized by Virgin Islands Caribbean Cultural Center (VICCC) at the University of the Virgin Islands, the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras, and the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
The Keynote speaker is Dr. George Franklin who will deliver his message on Thursday, Oct. 31, at 9 a.m.
The entire UVI community and the wider Virgin Islands community are invited to this event which will enlighten you on the richness of the Caribbean and its cultures.
