Media Invited to Cover & Photograph the Great Mangrove Clean-Up

Students participate in Marine and Environmental Science Learning

Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph the University of the Virgin Islands Great Mangrove Cleanup from 9 a.m. to noon at the VI-Eco Tours in Estate Nadir on Saturday, April 21, 2018.

The Virgin Islands community is invited to be a part of this cleanup since more debris, more than typical will need to be removed. Participants will meet at the Bertha C. Boschulte Junior High School where they will be shuttled to the cleanup site.

The cleanup is hosted by numerous partners to include UVI, Virgin Islands Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, Virgin Islands Marine Advisory Service, Department of Planning and Natural Resources, Coastal Zone Management, VI Tours and Pizza Pi.
