The University of the Virgin Islands’ Reichhold Center for the Arts will unveil its 36th season of entertainment at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 28, during a St. Thomas/St. John Chamber of Commerce Business after Hours reception.
Under the leadership of Interim Director Denise Humphrey, the upcoming season boasts some of the biggest names in the music industry, and is sure to support the Reichhold Center’s long legacy of providing excellence in the arts.
Humphrey brings more than 17 years of institutional history and experience in production and management of the Reichhold Center. She has worked in virtually every aspect of the center. She is probably best known for her role as technical director, designing and constructing elaborate sets, producing mesmerizing stage shows, and planning and executing the Youth Moviemaking Workshop.
Humphrey is excited about the upcoming 2014-2015 Season. “We are confident this season will exemplify quality and excellence in the arts as is the standard of the Reichhold,” she said.
This year’s Business After Hours reception will offer more incentives for businesses to be affiliated with this longstanding institution through one-time only discounts and special offers. This event will feature one-day-only special offers on corporate and group sales, event sponsorship packages, Pick Four Ticket package, and stage bill advertising.
