Members of the media are invited to cover the grand opening of the remodeled Social Sciences Department Building on UVI’s St. Thomas Campus. The ceremony runs from 10 a.m. to noon, on Thursday, Feb. 27. The building, located just south of West Hall on UVI’s upper campus, is ADA compliant. It has been completely remodeled inside and out, to provide office space for the entire faculty and staff of the Social Sciences Department.
Parking at the building, and on UVI’s upper campus is extremely limited. Parking will be available at the UVI Recreation Center, next to the tennis court. A UVI shuttle bus will be available to transport visitors parking at the Recreation Center to and from the Social Sciences Building.
