The University of the Virgin Islands Receives First Generation Scholarship Grant from The Coca-Cola Foundation

The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) has received a $150,000 donation from The Coca-Cola Foundation to provide scholarships to first-generation students. The grant will fund four-year scholarships for four UVI students who are the first in their family to attend college.

UVI and Coca-Cola will host a check presentation to announce the scholarship program and celebrate the four UVI students who have been selected to receive the four-year scholarship. In attendance will be Dr. David Hall, President of the University of the Virgin Islands, UVI students who are recipients of the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship and Coca-Cola Representatives.
