Continuing with tradition, the Reichhold Center for the Arts is set to launch its 39th season at the St. Thomas/St. John Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business after Hours event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29. The Reichhold Center’s new season aptly named, “More Than Just Concerts,” will highlight new offerings and initiatives to enhance the patron experience.
“Each year Reichhold Center strives to deliver something new and innovative to its operations, so as to complement the performances we bring to the stage,” said the Reichhold Director Denise Humphrey. “This season Reichhold Center will fortify its mantra in providing excellence in the arts.”
Reichhold Center’s 39th season launch will feature the 2017-2018 roster of performers and will also unveil changes to Reichhold’s day to day operations. Furthermore, the season launch will showcase the University’s Campaign for UVI and the importance in the collaboration of UVI, Reichhold and the local community. As it has in the past, the Business After Hours event will offer complimentary hors d’oeuvres along with drinks at the legendary $3 Chamber Bar. Patrons may also take advantage of special incentives, such as one-time-only discounts, special offers, a donor giveaway program and a UVI Alumni raffle for tickets to Oliver Samuel’s comedic play.
“This season’s patrons can expect a robust lineup of performances that will interest individuals of all ages, and a focal point on our Rent the Reichhold campaign”, said Ian Turnbull, marketing manager at Reichhold.
