Members of the media are invited to cover and photograph a number of special events and activities on UVI’s campuses on St. Croix and St. Thomas scheduled this weekend – Saturday, Nov. 22 and Sunday, Nov. 23. Here is an overview.

Albert A. Sheen Campus – St. Croix:

• 11 a.m. – Saturday, Nov. 22 – LAI Soccer Quarterfinal Playoff Match – UVI soccer field
  • UVI Bucs host University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras
  • 3 p.m. – Sunday, Nov. 23 – President David Hall’s Dean’s List Reception – UVI Great Hall
    • Recognizing high-achieving students for the 2014 spring semester on St. Croix

St. Thomas Campus:

• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Saturday, Nov. 22 & Sunday, Nov. 23 – STT-STJ Agriculture & Food Fair
   – Reichhold Center Grounds
  • Nov. 22 – 2 p.m. opening ceremony – Focus on Future Farmers of America Chapters
  • Nov. 23 – 3 p.m. (approximately) – Coal Pot Lighting Contest
  • 8 p.m. – Saturday, Nov. 22 – LAI Exhibition Basketball Game during Paradise Jam
    • UVI Bucs host University of Central Bayamon at the Sports & Fitness Center
