Media Invited to Cover the 50th Caribbean Food Crops Society Meeting

The University of the Virgin Islands’ Cooperative Extension Service is hosting the 50th annual Caribbean Food Crops Society’s meeting being held from July 6-11, at the Sugar Bay Resort and Spa on St. Thomas. Over 200 agriculturists, representing 22 countries will discuss production, marketing and policy issues affecting agriculture in the Caribbean. This year’s theme is “Enhancing Family Farms through Sustainable Energy, Research, and Technology.” The meeting will include oral and poster presentations, exhibits, a local farmers’ forum and educational tours.

The media is invited to cover and photograph the Farmer’s Forum at Sugar Bay Resort and Spa.
