UVI Awards 57 Degrees in Fall

The University of the Virgin Islands has conferred 57 degrees on the St. Thomas and St. Croix campuses for the Fall 2010 semester. On the St. Thomas campus 46 degrees have been conferred. Eleven degrees have been conferred on the St. Croix campus.

UVI has been conferring degrees in December since 2007. Students who graduate in December will have the December graduation date immediately noted on their UVI transcripts. This allows students to immediately enter the workforce or attend graduate school, rather than waiting until May. They will also be listed in the commencement booklet for the May ceremonies and have the option of participating in the ceremonies.
