The University of the Virgin Islands Institutional Advancement Component will host a series of meetings to get public input on its strategic plan. The Strategic Planning Conversations will be held on Feb. 17, in the Great Hall on UVI's St. Croix campus; on Feb. 18, at the Legislature Conference Room on St. John; and on Feb. 19, in the Administration and Conference Center on UVI's St. Thomas campus. The conversations will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on each day.
The Institutional Advancement Component is comprised of the following areas at the University: Annual Giving, Major Gifts, Alumni Affairs, Development, Public Relations and the Reichhold Center for the Arts. Employees from each area worked together to draft a strategic plan. The public can access the strategic plan at the UVI website www.uvi.edu or via this direct link.
The Strategic Planning Conversations will allow members of the public to suggest strategies that each of the areas can use to better meet their mission and better serve the community.
The Institutional Advancement Strategic Plan is linked to Vision 2012, UVI's strategic plan. For more information contact Institutional Advancement at 693-1040.
