Public Viewing of Venus, Andromeda Galaxy and More Set at Etelman Observatory Nov. 8

The University of the Virgin Islands College of Science and Mathematics and the Etelman Observatory will host its next public observing session using the Virgin Islands Robotic Telescope (VIRT) from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8. Guests will be treated to views of the planet Venus, the Ring Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy. The evening will also feature a video presentation and lecture on the history, science, and beauty of some of the most famous objects in the sky, known as the Messier Objects.
