The public is invited to a Public Briefing on the topic: “U.S. Virgin Islands in the Context of the Development Agenda for Small Islands Developing States.” The briefing, which is organized by the Foundation for Development Planning, Inc., will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, in the Administration and Conference Center of the University of the Virgin Islands on the St. Thomas Campus. It is designed to provide an update on the outcomes from the regional preparations for the Third International Conference on Small Islands Developing States (SIDS+20 Conference), and explore the implications and opportunities for the U.S. Virgin Islands in the development agenda for small islands.
