You are invited to register for a unique, intensive 2-week Summer Course held in May/June at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas from May 23 - June 6, 2017. The course is conducted by the Global Institute for Leadership and Management Development (GILMD) and is equivalent to 3 credit points. Participants who successfully complete the course will be awarded a “Certificate in Global Leadership and Management Development.”
Why Register? Given that effective leadership and management are vital for running any organization successfully, this special GILMD course is designed to provide training and education from a multi-disciplinary perspective to equip current and future leaders and managers anywhere in the world who are passionate about making a difference in the world! The course is suitable for students and workers in business, education, marketing, nursing, social work, liberal arts, tourism and hospitality, communication, science, public administration, IT, psychology, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, etc., who wish to pursue leadership and management roles in their respective career disciplines.
Course Duration: This 2-week intensive course involves a minimum of 55 hours comprising of lectures, case studies, role plays, discussions, seminars, group work, extracurricular activities (e.g. visitations to historical sites, social, cultural, governmental institutions and commercial centers) Participants will also attend the “International Conference on Leadership, Management and Strategic Development” that is held at the beginning of the GILMD course and will receive a Certificate of Participation.
