UVI Free Tuition Plus Program
The Free Tuition Plus Program at UVI provides students that attended three years of private, public or parochial schools in the U.S. Virgin Islands, to attend UVI tuition free once they qualify. Approved by the UVI Board of Trustees in March 2022, Free Tuition Plus can cover more than tuition. Funds for books, room and board (on or off campus) and other expenses may also be covered.
To qualify for Free Tuition, applicants must:
- Be a graduate (past or present) from a local high school attended for at least 3 years
- Have a cumulative 2.5 GPA
- Register as a full-time student seeking first undergraduate degree
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid online form
