Week of March 23, 2015
#uvipride
During this very special week, the university will take pride in and recognize UVI alumni, students, and programs.
We ask that staff, faculty, and students display their UVI Pride by wearing the school colors, blue and white, as well as any other UVI branded clothing, during that week. Also, feel free to decorate your offices and residence halls to demonstrate your UVI Pride.
On Thursday, March 26, 2015, there will be major campus-wide events on both St. Croix and St. Thomas, where everyone can mix and mingle in a fun and festive atmosphere of live entertainment, competitive games, music, cultural workshops, and light refreshments. It will be a time to reflect on past achievements, celebrate the present, and anticipate great moves toward the future, such as our coming doctorate program and medical school.

We will also have the participation of the high school marching bands, representatives from our various schools and colleges, as well as UVI student organizations, such as student government, sports teams and the UVI cheerleaders.
Additionally, we have engaged alumni throughout the USVI and the Eastern Caribbean. Our elected government officials will show their UVI Pride by wearing UVI branded clothing. Alumni representatives in our Dedicated Alumni Recruitment Team (DART) in St. Kitts/Nevis, Anguilla, St. Martin, and Antigua will also demonstrate their UVI Pride during that week in their respective islands.
With all these exciting events scheduled, we ask that you join us in showing your UVI Pride!!! #uvipride
