Report writing has become an essential skill for many professions, especially those in law enforcement. Being able to produce a professional document is critical as reports become public documents, are presented in court, and are used to compile vital statistics. For professionals who are required to write reports, yet struggle with the task, the UVI-CELL Center is offering a course to help improve report-writing skills.
Writing Effective Reports will be held 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, and on Wednesday, May 17, at the UVI-CELL Center on the St. Thomas Campus of the University of the Virgin Islands. The two-day workshop will provide the skills necessary to develop and prepare proper documentation and reports. While primarily designed for law enforcement personnel and security professionals, the course is open to anyone interested in improving their report writing skills.
For fees or more information on the course, contact the UVI-CELL Center at (340) 692-4230 or visit http://cell.uvi.edu.
