The UVI Physics Department, in collaboration with ITS staff, invite the public to the first UVI Astronomy Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 28, at the Ralph M. Paiewonsky Library on the St. Thomas campus. UVI Astronomy Day is a free event and will allow participants to:
• Enjoy a journey of the Solar System, our Galaxy, and beyond in the new UVI Planetarium
• Observe the Sun with Etelman Observatory solar telescopes
• Participate in Art and Crafts activities for kids (and adults)
• Learn about the brand new UVI Bachelor of Science
