The University of the Virgin Islands will host a UVI Pride Day of Service on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 9 am to 11 am as part of UVI's Pride celebrations. This community service project will focus on sprucing up UVI's information kiosk and creating community synergy by working together on a common project on the Albert A. Sheen Campus.
Join UVI student leaders and various student clubs and organizations participating in this memorable event. Gloves, trash bags, paint brushes, paint, shovels, and all other equipment will be provided by the University. Meet Ms. Finch-Simpson at the UVI Kiosk (UVI information station) at 8:30 am to check-in. At check-in, all volunteers will be will be assigned specific tasks such as laying of mulch, painting, gardening, curb-side beautification, etc. Refreshments will be available for all volunteers!
