Community Invited to Celebrate UVI Pride from March 18 - 30

The University of the Virgin Islands will celebrate UVI Pride from March 18 to 30, by reflecting on the impact UVI has had on our alumni and the territory. UVI students, faculty and staff are asked to wear UVI paraphernalia, decorate their office areas and wear UVI colors – blue and white. 

Pride rallies are being held at four public high schools in the territory throughout Charter Month. UVI will celebrate Charter Day and UVI Pride Day on Friday, March 18, on both UVI campuses. UVI Pride 2016 Activities:

• Friday, March 18, 2016 - Queen Mary Walk/Run on St. Croix, Charter Day (Observed) Celebration, and employees vs. students sport competitions
• Tuesday, March 22, 2016 - UVI Pride rally at Charlotte Amalie High School, St. Thomas
• Monday, March 28, 2016 - Community Service Day, St. Croix
• Tuesday, March 29, 2016 - UVI Pride rally at St. Croix Central High School, St. Croix
• Wednesday, March 30, 2016 - UVI Pride rally at St. Croix Educational Complex, St. Croix

The bookstores on both campuses are holding a UVI Pride t-shirt and polo sale. Prices vary per store.  Quantities are limited.
