The University of the Virgin Islands College of Science and Mathematics the Etelman Observatory will be hosting its next public observing session on Friday, July 22nd from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Guests will be treated to views of various deep sky objects and planets. The evening will also feature a video presentation and lecture describing the evolution of stars from their formation, through their lives, and to their ultimate, sometimes cataclysmic, demise.
We are pleased to invite the St. Thomas public to join us and enjoy the night sky, views of our Galaxy, and a discussion of interesting and exciting topics in the world of astrophysics and space science. This event is presented free of charge to the St. Thomas community. Space is limited. Please R.S.V.P. by emailing etelmanobservatory@gmail.com.
