The Caribbean Writer is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a launch release of its historical volumes 1-15 online via the Digital Library of the Caribbean (DLOC) website. UVI is a DLOC founding member and partner. The role of the digital library is to promote scholarship and access to resources. The event will showcase local and international Caribbean Writer authors, major achievements and milestones for UVI through libraries and the Caribbean Writer. The launching will be part of celebrating National Library Week and is scheduled to take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13. The venue is will be announced at a later date.
