The UVI Wow Customer Service Team is hosting a customer service workshop for UVI employees titled “Delighting Our Customers.” The workshop will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Jan. 27, in the first-floor conference room of the Administration and Conference Center on the St. Thomas Campus. The workshop will be teleconferenced to Evans Center room 401 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. The workshop is being facilitated by Tom Hewlett, a Franklin Covey trainer and consultant. Franklin Covey is a global company specializing in performance improvements utilizing the seven habits of highly effective people. Their philosophy is to help organizations achieve results that require a change in human behavior.
Hewlett is committed to applying the power of the principles he teaches to bottom-line issues concerning service. He believes you build great organizations by enabling greatness in people. Hewlett’s clients represent both private and public sectors with diverse audiences including university students, faculty and staff, as well as K-12 school districts. He has worked with business owners, boards of directors, and employees at all levels throughout large accounting and manufacturing corporations.
