Classes in American Sign Language will be offered by UVI's Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD) from Sept. 14 through Nov. 19, on St. Thomas and St. Croix. Two levels of instruction will be offered. Beginners Level I classes are scheduled on Mondays and Wednesdays. Beginners Level II classes are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sessions on St. Thomas will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Room 114 of the Teacher Education building on UVI's St. Thomas Campus. St. Croix sessions will take place from 5:45 to 7:15 p.m. at the VIUCEDD Office, at #1 Golden Grove across from the Spicy Grill. The cost is $150 per course.
