The UVI CARES Kick-off Campaign will be launched this week at events on both UVI campuses. This campaign was created to roll out UVI’s revised Sexually Misconduct Policy.
The first kick-off event will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, in the Administration and Conference Center, first-floor conference room on the St. Thomas Campus. The event will be video-conferenced to the St. John Academic Center.
The Albert A. Sheen Campus, on St. Croix, will kick-off the UVI CARES campaign at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Great Hall.
At the kick-off events, UVI President David Hall will address the UVI community and discuss the UVI CARES Campaign, whose aim is to increase awareness of the University’s revised Sexual Misconduct Policy. Additionally, UVI and the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Council will sign a memorandum of understanding.
The UVI community is invited to witness the unveiling of UVI CARES campus signs on both campuses. The goal of the campaign is to create a safe and positive learning and work environment for students, faculty, and staff.
