The Office of Student Activities on UVI’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix will host its annual Campus Leadership and Development conference from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday Oct. 24, at Carambola Beach Resort. The conference theme is “Leadership Ignites Change.” The goal of the Campus Leadership Development Conference is to empower and motivate students to enhance and develop their leadership skills. This will be done by implementing practical or actual experiences to compliment coursework facilitated via the classroom. The training will include team building activities and help students to find their inner voices as public speakers, especially when representing the University and beyond. The conference is open to all UVI full-time and part-time students.
