Auditions will be held beginning Monday, Sept. 15, for UVI Theatre’s season opening production of the powerful, internationally acclaimed musical “Angels in the Snow: The Berlin Wall Musical Drama.” The play, written and directed by UVI Playwright-in-Residence Dr. Doug Larche, will open in mid-November. It was composed by Larche, with his late son, Jason, and Susan Elliott. It tells the passionate, inter-generational story of three couples separated by the Berlin Wall, and the bloody crises they face as they try to reach out to each other and survive. Performances are scheduled for Nov. 14-16, and Nov. 21-23, at the UVI Little Theatre in the CA Building on the St. Thomas Campus.
Auditions are open to all members of the UVI family, the greater Saint Thomas/St John community and local high school students.
