The VI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host two business development courses in August. The SBDC will hold the 'Developing Your Business Plan' course from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12. This course covers the reasons to develop a plan and tips for writing a successful plan. In addition, it introduces the 'GrowthWheel,®' a planning tool used for decision-making in start-up and growth companies that help entrepreneurs get focused, set agendas, make decisions, and take action.
The SBDC will hold the 'Fundamentals of Business Credit' course from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26. This session will guide participants through funding issues that small business owners may face throughout all phases of their business, including teaching business owners how to speak to their banker.
The classes will be held at the SBDC St. Thomas training facility in Nisky Center, Suite 720. The cost for each course is $25.
