Dr. Godfrey, director of UVI’s Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) and a professor of Animal Science, will present a seminar entitled “Physiology of Adapted Livestock in a Tropical Environment” from 2 to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23. The seminar will be available in Research and Extension Center Room 133 on the Albert Sheen Campus on St. Croix. Dr. Godfrey will discuss research conducted by the AES Animal Science staff and students that evaluated the impact of the tropical environment on the physiology of hair sheep and Senepol cattle in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
