The St. Thomas/St. John Chapter of the UVI Alumni Association invites the UVI community and general public to attend a First Friday Business Expo and Fundraiser at the newly renovated Paradise Point, above Havensight Mall, from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 7. First Friday events are designed to help non-profit organizations to raise funds. Raffle tickets for a variety of prizes will be sold for $3. A 50/50 raffle will also be held on site. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, music, a breath-taking sunset, and vendors and organizations showcasing products and services will be offered. The evening's honoree is UVI alumna and former employee Cassandra Dunn. Proceeds go to the chapter's scholarship fund for UVI students and to the United Way of St. Thomas-St. John.
