UVI students in good standing are invited to apply for a summer internship with the Virgin Islands Legislature. The internship program will provide students with an opportunity to learn more about various aspects of politics and public administration. It will run from June 24 through July 26. Included will be enrichment activities pertaining to parliamentary procedure, legislative research and archival processes, post audit analysis, management information systems, public affairs, bill drafting and legal analysis.
To qualify students must have a GPA of 2.8 or higher and be between the ages of 18 to 30. Ten students will be selected to participate. Internships are available on both St. Thomas and St. Croix.
