Members of the media are invited to cover the second presentation in the annual 13D Lecture Series at the University of the Virgin Islands. International guest lecturer and best-selling author Dr. Dennis Kimbro will speak at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 2l, in the Administration and Conference Center on the St. Thomas Campus. The lecture will also be available via videoconference in the Great Hall on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
Dr. Kimbro will share insights on how Americans can reach their untapped potential. He will lecture on the topic “The Wealth Choice: Success Secrets of Black Millionaires,” which is also the title of one of his books. As a lecturer and researcher in the field of management, entrepreneurship and human potential, his teachings encourage people to look within to extract the keys that underlie all accomplishment.
The lecture is free and the general public is invited.
A $5 million gift from investment strategist and entrepreneur Kiril Sokoloff, the founder of 13D Research (USVI) LLC, supports the 13D Lecture Series, the annual 13D Student Entrepreneurship Competition and an endowed chair in entrepreneurship at UVI.
