UVI President Dr. David Hall invites the entire University community (faculty, staff and students) to join in a Town Hall Meeting to focus on the University's enrollment/recruitment challenge. The session is scheduled from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29. President Hall will host the session from the Chase Auditorium (B-110) in the Business Administration Building on the St. Thomas Campus, with a videoconference link to the Administration and Conference Center's first-floor conference room, Evans Center Room 401 on the Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix and to Room 101 of the St. John Academic Center in Cruz Bay.
As President Hall noted in his recent Convocation Address, the University is experiencing a steady decline in its student applications and enrollment. Despite placing more resources, time and effort into recruitment and admissions, this trend continues. This critical issue impacts the entire University community. All members are encouraged to bring ideas, recommendations and enthusiasm to the Town Hall meeting as the University works collectively to address this important issue.
