The V. I. Council on Literacy will observe International Literacy Day on Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, on UVI's Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix. The council invites members of the UVI community to join members in celebrating literacy. Please email or call Nancy Morgan or Valerie Combie (x4121, x4126) to arrange to participate. Participants may read from their favorite author, favorite book, favorite period, etc. for about 15 minutes. The session begins at 10 a.m. in campus Writing Center, Modular Building Room 104, and continues until 4 p.m.
