UVI’s Cooperative Extension Service Offers Beginner and Intermediate Computer Classes on St. Thomas

UVI’s Cooperative Extension Service (CES) is offering a series of computer classes for beginner and intermediate computers users on St. Thomas. The classes are designed for anyone interested in improving their computer skills, from farmers to senior citizens, from retired teachers to housewives. They are taught by Extension Agent Dara Cooper. Classes are offered in the CES New House Building on the St. Thomas Campus.

Classes for each group will run for ten, two-hour sessions. Classes for beginners are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays, from Nov. 5 to Dec. 5. Each beginner classes will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Classes for intermediate computer users will be offered in both mornings and afternoons on Mondays and Wednesdays, from Nov. 4 through Dec. 4. Morning sessions run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., while evening classes are slated for 5:50 to 7:30 p.m. The cost per six-week course is $25.
