CERC Health Disparities Institute Poster Abstract Submission Deadline Extended to Sept. 15
The National Institute on Minority Health Disparities (NIMHD) Caribbean Exploratory Research Center (CERC) and the University of the Virgin Islands School of Nursing will hold the Annual Health Disparities Institute in conjunction with the Medical University of South Carolina’s seventh annual National Conference on Health Disparities in November. The theme is “Reducing Health Disparities through Sustaining and Strengthening Healthy Communities” and CERC’s sub theme is “Examining the Role of: Prevention, Social Determinants and Personal Reasonability.” The conference will be held Nov. 13-16, at the Sugar Bay Resort and Spa, on St. Thomas.
The deadline for the submission of poster abstracts from faculty, other researchers and program directors has been extended to Sept. 15. Abstracts may be submitted electronically at https://cerc.uvi.edu. Poster abstract submission guidelines for undergraduate and graduate students are posted on the conference website at www.nationalhealthdisparities.com.
