Open Space Stewardship Workshop Slated for Nov. 13 to 16 at UVI

Brookhaven National Laboratory in partnership with UVI's Caribbean Green Technology Center, the National Park Service and the USVI Department of Education-St. Thomas/St. John School District will conduct the second annual environmental education workshop - the Open Space Stewardship Workshop - for St. Thomas secondary public school teachers. "It is critical that the students begin to learn about and take responsibility for their local environment." The workshop will take place on the campus of UVI with field trips to Hassel Island, presented in conjunction with a grant the National Park Service has received.
