A. Prerequisites for Non-business students
The introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship course (ENT 205) can be taken upon the successful completion of ENG 100/WAC 011 and ENG 101/RCA 021 or passing scores on the placement exams, or satisfactory SAT score exemption. Beyond ENT 205, non-business students are required to take the following set of concept courses. These courses are 100% online and are self-paced to provide the student maximum access and flexibility.

B. Prerequisites for business students
UVI business majors have the option to substitute higher-level discipline-specific courses, for the 100-level prerequisite courses listed above. ACC 201, FIN 301, MGT 301, and MKT 301 can be used to satisfy the ACC 100, FIN 100, MGT 100, and MKT 100 prerequisite requirements, respectively.
