The University of the Virgin Islands is an official limited center for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Students who have acquired sufficient skill and knowledge in an area of study tested by the program may contact the Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (CELL) Center to arrange for testing at cell@uvi.edu or by calling (340) 692-4230 (St. Croix) and (340) 693-1100 (St. Thomas). There is a fee of $80.00 (USD) per examination. 

In general, credit at the University of the Virgin Islands will be awarded for CLEP scores at or above the level recommended by the College Board for the following areas only:
