The University of the Virgin Islands will host a weeklong cadre of exciting virtual events as part of, a first of its kind, virtual initiative dubbed “Back the Bucs Week,” between Monday, March 15, and Sunday, March 21.
“Back the Bucs Week” will highlight UVI’s Charter Month and the observance of Charter Week, celebrating the establishment of the College of the Virgin Islands (now the University of the Virgin Islands) on March 16, 1962, as we highlight our esteemed UVI academic units.
“The University of the Virgin Islands has been a part of this community for 59 years. As we celebrate Back the Bucs Week, we will share the pride of UVI – our students, alumni, professors and get an insider look of our programs,” said Michell Neaves, vice president for Institutional Advancement. “UVI continues to specialize in futures, and this week we will share ourselves with you.”
