Town Hall Meetings Planned on UVI Campuses for October 29 and 30 on Community Needs Assessment

Researchers from the University of the Virgin Islands are completing a Community Needs Assessment on behalf of the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) to:

  • hear from the community.
  • learn about the health needs and challenges facing community members after Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
  • gather information to prioritize areas for critical services and financial support and,
  • gather information that will help the community to better prepare for future disruptions.

The meetings will be held from 5:30 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. on the St. Thomas Campus on Monday, Oct. 29 in the Administration and Conference, Center First-floor, Conference Room 142 and on the Albert A. Sheen Campus in the Great Hall on Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

The UVI community is invited to come out and share their thoughts and ideas. The staff of the Caribbean Exploratory Research Center (CERC) looks forward to your participation.
