The University of the Virgin Islands’ Student Government Association (SGA) Queens Committee invites the public to its annual Miss University of the Virgin Islands Ambassadorial Competition at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, in the St. Croix Educational Complex Gymnasium on St. Croix.
“We are glad to continue the tradition of hosting the Miss University of the Virgin Islands Ambassadorial Competition,” said Kevin Dixon, coordinator of Student Activities on St. Croix. “We are always ecstatic about providing opportunities for our students to showcase their talents, and intellect, as they all vie to serve as an ambassador for our institution.”
The competition is alternated between, the St. Croix and St. Thomas Campuses. Though the competition was slated to be held on St. Thomas this year, due to the damage on St. Thomas from Hurricane Irma, specifically to the Reichhold Center, SGA- St. Thomas was unable to host the event.
The Miss University of the Virgin Islands Ambassadorial Competition seeks to find a young, vibrant goodwill ambassador for the University.
