The Emerging Caribbean Scientists (ECS) Program at the University of the Virgin Islands invites the public to attend the 16th annual Summer Student Research Symposium. It will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, in the Sports & Fitness Center on the University’s St. Thomas Campus.
Undergraduate students will be presenting scientific posters to showcase the results of their summer research experience under the mentorship of UVI professors. More than 48 participants from both campuses will showcase their research which was conducted during the summer.
Summer youth camps, civic organizations and the general public are invited to attend and learn more about research at UVI. The event is free.
