The Office of Counseling and Placement is sponsoring a powerful seminar on “Financial Empowerment” for students as well as faculty and staff. It will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 19 in the Evans Center (EVC) Room 405.
The speaker will be Martina Simpson, owner of K&M Tax and Accounting Service. She is an IRS registered tax preparer with 20+years of experience preparing individual and business taxes. Ms. Simpson also holds an active real estate license as an affiliate broker and is a real estate appraiser apprentice in South Carolina. Martina became an accredited financial counselor in 2010 and is currently working towards becoming a financial fitness coach.
