The University of the Virgin Islands Office of Student Activities is proud to announce and invites the public to the 2017 Mr. Incredible Show at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, in the Cafetorium on UVI’s Albert A. Sheen Campus on St. Croix.
The Mr. Incredible contest was created with the vision of showcasing the talent and empowering young men at the university. The show will include modeling segments where grooming and poise are measured and will also feature various segments such as creative introduction, business wear, talent, 60s swag wear, a question and answer, and best pick-up line.
Contender number one Andre Joseph, a junior accounting major. Contender number two Matthew Perry is a freshman mass communication major. Contender number three Morandy Charles is a sophomore criminal justice major. Contender number four Josinio Andrew is a sophomore criminal justice major and contender number five is Amali Krigger, a senior computer science major.
The winner will be awarded a $500 cash prize, and 1st runner-up will receive $200 cash prize. Awards will also be presented for Mr. Intellect, Best Business Wear, Best Performing Talent, Mr. Popularity, and People’s Choice Award.
Mr. Incredible competition is presented by the Office of Student Activities on the St. Croix Campus. Tickets are available in the University Bookstore; $3 for current UVI students with valid identification and $5 for the general public.
